General note
Text on verso continues " The York Mission has been using St. Matthew's U.C as our Church home since 1998. In Sept. 2002 st. Matthew's and the Mission had a pulpit exchange. Rev. Wayne Reed preached at our Sermon and Rev. Johmann Kwong at St. Matthew's. The theme of partnership and co-operation was sounded loud and clear in the two sermons. Helen Smith of St. Matthew's was instructor in our English Conversation group. We knew the two churches had taken another step in mission together. This year the sanctuary was decorated with lions and red lanterns-st. Matthew's gift to us. We're deligted. Some of us decided to take a picture after worship.
