Mindemoya Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925, formerly Methodist. It included Mindemoya, Silver Bay, Snowville and Tekummah (until ca. 1933), Monument (now Monument Corner), Billings (1940-1967), Ice Lake (1955-1970), Providence Bay and Kagawong.
Mindemoya United Church, located at 6070 King Street, was established in 1925; formerly Methodist. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of the United Church of Canada.
St. Paul's-On-The-Hill in Kagawong was established in 1925, formerly Union. The Methodist Church in Kagawong was established in 1881 on Lot 28, Concession 15 Billings Township. Meanwhile the Presbyterians had been sending student missionaries to the area for the summer months since 1875. The Methodists and Presbyterians united to form the Kagawong Union Church ca. 1917. It later joined the United Church of Canada in 1925.The congregation shared the building with the Anglican Church until 1938 when the Anglicans moved to another location.It was originally part of Billings Pastoral Charge, but it became its own charge ca. 1929 and then a part of Mindemoya Pastoral Charge ca. 1939. It disbanded in June 2017.
Providence Bay United Church, located at 5227 Mutchmor Street, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The church building was constructed in 1921. Originally its own pastoral charge, it joined Mindemoya Pastoral Charge ca. 1937. It disbanded in September 2017 and members joined Mindemoya United Church.
