Zion-Wexford Church, at 2162 Lawrence Avenue East in Scarborough, began life in 1842 as a Primitive Methodist congregation meeting in a small building called Twaddle's Chapel in Wexford, Ontario. In 1876 a stone church with the name 'Parsonage Church' was built on the present site, and the Primitives joined the Methodist Union of 1884. A dispute led the congregation to join with the Presbyterian Church in 1888-1889, and it was as a Presbyterian congregation (renamed Zion) that it joined the United Church in 1925. In 1954 the name Wexford was prefixed to the congregation's name to distinguish it from other Zion churches in the Toronto Presbytery, as Metropolitan Toronto was formed and the geographic name Wexford disappeared from maps. In 2002, Zion-Wexford amalgamated with Wilmar Heights and became Wexford Heights United Church.

Carleton Place: Zion Memorial Pastoral Charge was formed in 1966 with the amalgamation of Carleton Place: Memorial Park Pastoral Charge and Carleton Place: Zion Pastoral Charge. It included Zion-Memorial, Boyd's and Franktown until May 1, 193 when Franktown and Boyd's separated to form a separate charge. It is still an active charge of the United Church of Canada.

Zion United Church in Ostrander, located at lot 7, concession 8, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The congregation started as a Bible Christian Church ca. 1860. A church building was constructed ca. 1861 on now Highway 19. In 1884, it became Zion Methodist Church following the union of Methodist Churches in Canada. In 1900, the church was moved to Concession 8. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925 and formed part of Springford Pastoral Charge until ca. 1930. It was then associated with St. Paul's United Church in Tillsonburg until ca. 1961 when it became a single-point charge. In 1995 it amalgamated with Avondale United Church in Tillsonburg.

Zion United Church in Mitchell's Corner, was established in 1925 and formed past of Hampton Pastoral Charge with Hampton and Eldad until July 1, 1987 when it separated to form a single-point charge. It closed on December 29, 2010.

Zion United Church was formed in 1968 when the Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church joined the United Church of Canada. Zion Church, Kitchener was established in the 1830s, with a congregation organized in 1839, and the denomination's first Canadian church erected in 1841. It was known as the mother church of the denomination in Canada, and several of the other Kitchener churches were its missionary offspring. Zion United Church closed in 2015.

Zion United Church, located at 106 Pine Street in Kingston, was established in 1925 when Zion Presbyterian Church in Kingston joined the United Church of Canada. Zion Presbyterian Church was established in 1891. It is an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Zion United Church, located at 10911 Pinehurst Line in Harwich, was established in 1925; formerly Methodist. It joined the United Church in 1925 and was part of a three-pioint charge with St. John's United Church in Botany and Huffman's United Church in Harwich. until circa 1943 when it became a two-point charge with St. Paul's United Church in Harwich It closed in the fall of 2019.

Zion United Church was established in 1925 with the union of Zion Presbyterian Church (founded 1892) and Ashcroft Methodist Church (founded 1897). From 1954 to 1958, the Charge included St. Andrew's United Church (Lillooet, B.C.) and was known as the Ashcroft-Lillooet Pastoral Charge. Congregations which are now closed, but which formerly were part of the Charge, are St. John's (Clinton, B.C., 1925-2011); Spences Bridge (1926-1977); Walhachin (1929-1959); and Cache Creek (1958-1973). Keefers, Savona, and North Bend were also points of the original Ashcroft Pastoral Charge. In 2011, Ashcroft became a single point charge. It had been part of the Kamloops-Okanagan Presbytery until presbyteries were disbanded when church restructured in 2019. Zion United Church disbanded on December 31, 2022.

Zion Methodist Church starting in 1876 when residents of the Bracondale neighbourhood began meeting in various homes. A meeting house was erected in 1878, and in 1890 a new building was dedicated at the corners of St. Clair and Rushton, known at Zion Methodist. A subsequent rebuilding on the same site from 1914-1924, and a new name, St. Clair, was adopted prior to the congregation joining the United Church in 1925.

Preaching commenced to German-speaking Canadians in the Elmwood area in 1866, in Bentinck Township. Zion church was erected at Elmwood in 1879, and was one charge on a circuit that consisted of six points (Bentinck, Elmwood, Chesley, Hanover, Brant and Walkerton). In 1968 Zion became part of the United Church of Canada.

Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church was established ca. 1870. In 1968 the Evangelical United Brethren Churches joined with the United Church. In 1971, Zion United Church amalgamated with Wesley United Church to form Trinity United Church.

Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church was organized in 1949 as an EUB congregation.The first class at Arnprior was organized by German-speaking Canadians in 1880, and a church building was acquired in 1882. The Brethren built the Arnprior church in 1907. The work was abandoned in 1962 and the properties sold to the Wesleyan Methodists.

Zion Congregational Church began meeting at the Masonic Temple in Toronto in 1834, and later moved to an abandoned Methodist Church on George Street. In 1840 a chapel was erected at Bay and Adelaide Streets in the city, with the congregation later moving to 88 College Street at Elizabeth Street in Toronto. The congregation disbanded in 1910 and in 1948 the University of Toronto acquired the building.

The Yorkville Primitive Methodist Church, was also known as St. Paul's Primitive Methodist Church. Located at 121 Avenue Road, began as a Primitive Methodist mission in Yorkville in 1844 on Cumberland Street. In 1867 a new church was built at Yonge and Davenport, and about 1887 the new church was opened. In 1884, the name of the church was changed from St. Paul's Primitive Methodist to St. Paul's Methodist.

Yorkminster United Church was located in Willowdale, Ontario at 395 Old Yonge Street, where it intersects with Highway 401. It began in 1953, and by 1957 a modern church structure was opened. In the 1960s there was talk of amalgamating the congregation with Oriole-York Mills United Church, but the attempt was defeated. Yorkminster ceased to be a congregation in 1983, and the building was sold in the following year to the Salvation Army.

Yonge Street United Church, located at the corners of Yonge and Summerhill streets in Toronto, was established in 1925. It began as a Methodist Church in 1873 at the corner of Yonge and Marlborough streets in the city. That church was torn down in 1911, and the new building had its first service in the same year. In 1971 a fire destroyed the church, and the congregation met at a local banquet hall for much of the next two years, before it decided to amalgamate with St. Andrew's United Church in 1973.

Wyoming United Church, located at 730 2nd Street at Confederation Line, was established 1925, formerly Methodist. Wyoming was originally a mission point of Warwick Methodist Circuit in 1853, and a church was built in 1857. A new church in the current location was constructed in 1917. The church joined the United Church in 1925. Until 1963, it was a two-point charge with South Plympton, and when the latter church closed, it became a three-point charge with Warwick and Uttoxeter. In 1971, Warwick left to form its own charge, and it remained a two-point charge with Uttoxeter until that church closed on June 11, 2006. Wyoming United Church is still an active congregation of the United Church.

Wrinch Memorial Hospital, originally known as Hazelton Hospital, was founded by Dr. Horace Wrinch, a Methodist missionary from Ontario. Wrinch set up a temporary facility at Kispiox upon his arrival in 1900, but decided that Hazelton would be a more appropriate site for the hospital, which opened with twenty beds in 1904, sponsored by the Methodist Church. The hospital was renamed in Wrinch's honour upon his death in 1939; today it is sponsored by the United Church with funding from the provincial and federal governments. The original building was replaced in 1931, and the current structure was built in 1977.

Wooler - Stockdale Pastoral Charge was formed in 1931, and was originally known as Wooler Pastoral Charge; it included Wooler, Stockdale and Mount Zion Church in Murray Township. It disbanded when Wooler and Stockdale separated to form separate charges on January 1, 2007.

Woodslee United Church, located at 2616 Belle River Road in Woodslee, was established in 1925; formerly Methodist. The Methodists were actively meeting in Woodslee as early as 1833. Woodslee and Rochester (later Ruscomb) were preaching places of Gosfield Methoidst Mission. In 1868, Woodslee became a circuit and the first church was built in 1875. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925 and formed part of a two-point charge with Ruscomb, which closed ca. 1984, and later Belle River. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Woodgreen United Church was established 1925, formerly Methodist. The first United Church was located at 787 Queen St. east, at the corner of Queen st Street East and Strange St. In 1959, the church moved to a new location at 875 Queen Street East, the corner of Queen and Logan Ave. This new building was dedicated May 7, 1959. It closed on December 31, 2004.

Woodgreen Tabernacle, was established in 1875 in the Queen Street East area of Toronto. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925.
