Beachburg Methodist Church was established ca. 1892, at the time of church union the congregation joined St. Andrew's Presbyterian to form St. Andrew's United Church in the Presbyterian building. The Methodist Church building was sold in 1929, the funds from the sale were used to build an extension on the church building that is currently the choir room and the back kitchen in the basement.

Beachville Pastoral Charge was established in 1925 and included Beachville, Sweaburg and West Oxford (from ca. 1946).

Beachville United Church, located at 434809 Zorra Line in Beachville was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The first Methodist church in Beachville was erected in 1832, and the congregants also met with West Oxford. In 1867, a second church was built and this was replaced by Wesley Memorial Church which was ereceted in 1891. The church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. The church closed December 31, 2014.

Sweaburg United Church, located at 474425 Dodge Line, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The Methodist church in Sweaburg was established ca. 1862. In 1888 a new church was built. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It is still an active congregation of the United Church.

West Oxford United Church, located at 54395 Church Line, West Oxford, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The first Methodist Church in the community was established in 1804. A new church was constructed in 1823. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925 and was a part of Salford Pastoral Charge until ca. 1945. It then joined Beachville Pastoral Charge. It is still an active congregation of the United Church.

Beaverdams Methodist Church (Thorold, Ont.) was established in 1884 with Methodist Church Union, formerly Wesleyan. The church closed in 1890 when the village of Beaverdams population dwindled and the nearby Thorold grew.

Beaverton Presbyterian Church, also referred to as "Old Stone" church and St. Andrew's, was founded in 1835, and construction on the current stone building was completed in 1853. In 1991, it was designated a national historic site and the Beaverton Presbyterian Church undertook it's restoration. Currently it is being used for special services and during the summer months. This church is part of the Presbyterian Church of Canada.

Harvey W. Becking (1896-1934) was a missionary to China with the Presbyterian Church in Canada, and the United Church of Canada. He was born in Bruce County, Ontario in 1896. After returning from overseas, where he served with the Canadian Forces, he was appointed as a missionary of the Presbyterian Church in Canada in April, 1921. That same year, he married Clementine Isabel Macpherson and the couple were designated to the South China mission. Mr. Becking was appointed Principal of the Boys' Boarding School at Kongmoon and held that position until his withdrawal from the mission field in November, 1934. After resigning from the mission field in 1936, he was a teacher at Long Branch, Ontario.

Bedford Park United Church was established in 1925; formerly Presbyterian. It was located at 100 Ranleigh Avenue. In 2005, the church began to consider redeveloping its property for mixed use housing and community space, and in 2012, the church building was demolished. The congregation began to worship in rented space at Eglinton St. George's United Church at 35 Lytton Blvd. The redevelopment became unfeasible and the Ranleigh Avenue property was sold. The congregation of Bedford Park United Church is now closed.

Bedford Park Presbyterian Church began holding services in private homes as early as 1913. In 1921, the congregation built a church at Ranleigh Avenue, near Yonge and Lawrence. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925.

Bedford United Church, located at 3340 Sandwich Street in Windsor, was established ca. 1992, when Calvary and Sandwich Churches amalgamated. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Calvary United Church was established in 1925; formerly Methodist. It was started a Methodist mission in the west end of Windsor by the Windsor Avenue Methodist Church in 1897. The mission was named Wellington Street Mission. A church building was constructed at 27 Wellington Avenue in 1899; it was moved in 1904 to the corner of London Street and Elm Avenue; renamed as London Street Methodist Church. It joined the United Church in 1925 and changed its name to West End United Church. In 1933, its name was changed again to Calvary United Church. It closed in 1992

Sandwich United Church, located at 3340 Sandwich Street, was established in 1925; formerly Methodist. The Sandwich Methodist Church was first founded in 1838; the church building was later sold to the township in 1874 and the congregation went to Windsor Methodist Church. Services resumed in Sandwich in 1904 and a church was built in 1907 as Sandwich Methodist Church. The church joined the United Church in 1925, It amalgamated with Calvary United Church in 1992 to form Bedford United Church in the former Sandwich United Church building.

Lenore Pearl Beecham (1928-2021) was overseas personnel with The United Church of Canada. She was born and spend much of her childhood in Toronto, attending Rawlinson Public School and Vaughan Road Collegiate. She trained and worked as a teacher, then enrolled in Toronto Bible College [Tyndale College] where she met her future life partner, Walter Beecham. After graduating in 1955 she enrolled at The United Church of Canada's Centre for Christian Studies (majoring in Christian Education and Pastoral Care) and graduated as a Deaconess. The couple were sent by The United Church of Canada to South Korea in 1958 where they worked together from 1959-1981 in partnership with the Presbyterian Church of the Republic of Korea. After retiring from the mission field, having completed her Bachelor of Arts through Maryland University extension program, she went back to the University of Toronto and earned her Master's of Divinity at Emmanuel College, Victoria University. In 1983, at the age of 55, she became an ordained minister in The United Church of Canada. For For a period of time, she served as an assistant minister of the Korean Central Church in Toronto. In 1983, Lenore became the interim Minister at St. James United Church. During her term there, she held early morning Bible Studies at 7 a.m., which evolved into a group called “Morning Meds”. This group met every Thursday
morning, and continued for almost 40 years in neighbouring churches, nurturing lifelong friendships. When Lenore accepted a call to Richview United Church, she broke the glass ceiling by becoming the first woman lead minister in a Metro Toronto congregation. She served there for 8 years from 1984 until her retirement in 1992. In 1984, her book Song of the Soul: In Celebration of Korea was published. Upon retirement in 1992, she and Walter returned to St. James United Church in Etobicoke, and quickly became involved in the life of the congregation, its many committees and groups. Lenore passed away in 2021.

Walter McKenzie Beecham was overseas personnel with The United Church of Canada. He was ordained in 1958 in Toronto Conference, and in 1959 went to South Korea, along with his wife, Lenore Pearl Beecham. They worked in South Korea from 1959-1981 in partnership with the Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea, living and raising children there during turbulent times. Upon retiring from the overseas field, Walter was a minister at the following places: Cliffcrest (Scarborough) (1985-1986), Woodgreen (Toronto) (1986-1987), Alton-Caledon (Caledon) (1988-1989), Bethesda of Forest Glen (Mississauga) (1989-1990), Home-Huttonville-Norval (Huttonville) (1990-1991), Mayfield (Caledon) (1991-1992), He retired in 1991 but worked as a retired minister at St. John's (Georgetown) from 1991-1994), and Mayfield (Caledon) in 1994. He died in 2001.

William C. Beer (1840-1916) was a Methodist minister in Ontario. He was born in Devonshire, England, and at fifteen years of age came to Canada and settled in Solina, near Bowmanville. He married Ann Bodkin of Delaware in 1870. He was received on trial in the Bible Christian Church began in 1865, achieved full connexion 1879 and was superannuated to the London Conference in 1901. In between, he served many charges in the Bay of Quinte and London Conferences.

Harold James Bell, (1890-1969), was a United Church minister. He was born in Beaverton, Ontario in 1890. He received his M.A. from University College, University of Toronto and his B.D. from Victoria University. He was ordained in 1925 and served several churches before retirement in 1958. He died in 1969.

John Wesley Bell, (1847-1929) was a minister and temperance worker in Western Canada. He was born in the Bay of Quinte area of Ontario in 1847. He was received on trial for the ministry of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in 1870. A graduate of Victoria University (B.D.), he was ordained by the Toronto Conference of the Methodist Church of Canada in 1877 and started a lengthy career of church and temperance work in Western Canada and the United States. In 1901 he resigned from the Methodist ministry and devoted most of his time to temperance work. He returned to the ministry in 1915. He died 1929 July 6. His wife, a medical doctor, survived him, as did his daughter.

Belmont, Harrietsville - Mossley Pastoral Charge, also known as Belmont Pastoral Charge, was formed ca. 1970 when Harrietsville and Mossley churches left Avon Pastoral Charge to join Belmont Pastoral Charge. Belmont Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925 and originally included Belmont, Victoria, and Salem. Following the closures of both Victoria and Salem in the 1940s, Belmont amalgamated with Nilestown and Gore Pastoral Charge to form a three-point charge ca. 1950. The charge was known as Belmont, Nilestown and Gore Pastoral Charge as well as Belmont Pastoral Charge. The charge again became a single-point charge with the closure of Gore (ca. 1957) and Nilestown (ca. 1968).

The Belmont Methodist Circuit was established ca. 1853 and included: Brath's, Traver's, Plymouth, Purdy's, Manning's, Wesley, and Plaxton's (Mossley). The Belmont church was built in 1856. The church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925 and formed part of Belmont Pastoral Charge. It is still an active congregation of the United Church.

The Methodist Church in Mossley was established ca. 1860 with the building of a church on the third Concession, half a mile east of Mossley's Corners. A new church was constructed in 1911. The church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925 and formed part of Avon Pastoral Charge until ca. 1970 when it moved to Belmont Pastoral Charge. It amalgamated with Harrietsville in 1978 to form Harrrietsville - Mossley United Church.

Nilestown United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. Methodist services began in Nilestown in 1856. it joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. Originally it formed part of a pastoral charge with Grace United Church in London. It then became its own charge with Gore United Church ca. 1933. It closed in 1969. Much of the congregation moved to Belmont.

Belwood Methodist Circuit was established ca. 1896, and included Bethel and Carmel Churches in West Garafraxa Township; it was discontinued in 1925.

Dracon and Metz Presbyterian Pastoral Charge was active until 1925, and includes Douglas [now Belwood], Garafraxa Township, Knox Presbyterian church, Dracon, and St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Metz; it was discontinued with the formation of the United Church.

Melvyn Matthew Bennett (1868-1939) was a minister of the Methodist Church and later of The United Church of Canada. He was born in Sebringville, Ontario in 1868. He obtained his B.A. degree from Wesley College, Winnipeg in 1893. After a couple of years teaching, he returned to Wesley College and Victoria College. He was ordained in 1898. He was posted to the Dryden Mission in Northern Ontario. In 1899, he married Kathleen Cooper. He preached at various circuits in Saskatchewan, returning after 1925 to Ontario. Rev. Bennett retired in 1927 and died in 1939.

Berkeley Street United Church, at the corners of Queen Street East and Berkeley Street, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. In 1955 it amalgamated with Regent Park United Church in the Regent Park building, and retained that name. The Berkeley church building became Berkeley Studios, the United Church of Canada's media centre until the studio moved to United Church of Canada General Council Office at 3250 Bloor Street West in Toronto in 1995.

William George Berry (1903-1988) was a minister of the United Church of Canada. He was born in London, England and educated at Mount Allison University, McGill University and Oxford University. He was ordained in 1934. Rev. Berry was active in social work and served as Associate Secretary on the Board of Evangelism and Social Service. He was a member of the Inter-Church Committee on Protestant- Roman Catholic Relations and was active in union negotiations with the Anglican Church of Canada. He retired in 1971 and died in 1988.

Marion Best was born in New Westminster, British Columbia. She received Nurse Training at the Royal Columbian Hospital, then worked there from 1968-1975. In 1977, she and her husband Jack Best received a joint call to the Naramata Centre in British Columbia, where she worked on programs and he worked on public relations and finances. She continued work there until 1987 when she began freelance consulting work with church and community groups, in the healthcare field. For many years, she was on the Executive of the World Council of Churches. She was also President of the British Columbia Conference, and on the United Church’s General Council Executive. A lay-leader, she served as Moderator of the United Church from 1994-1997, and in 1998 began serving as Vice-Moderator of the World Council of Churches. Best was Chair of the sessional committee that produced the 1988 recommendations on opening the ministry to gays and lesbians, in the report Toward a Christian Understanding of Sexual Orientation Lifestyles and Ministry.
