The Campden Station of the Evangelical Alliance was initiated when American Alliance preachers came to minister to German-speaking Canadians in the years 1839-1841, in the Black Creek region. A church was erected in the Campden area in 1850, and in 1872 a new church was opened in the village.

Preaching commenced to German-speaking Canadians in the Elmwood area in 1866, in Bentinck Township. Zion church was erected at Elmwood in 1879, and was one charge on a circuit that consisted of six points (Bentinck, Elmwood, Chesley, Hanover, Brant and Walkerton). In 1968 Zion became part of the United Church of Canada.

The Hespeler, Ontario Mission was initially a mission to German-speakers. It was a mission of the Waterloo District of the Evangelical Association in 1880, and remained in this relation until 1922, when the mission was closed.

Normanby Township was visited by ministers of the Evangelical Association in 1854, and in 1856 a church for German-speaking residents was built in Alsfeldt. Normanby Circuit was organized in 1867 with appointments at Hanover, Gross Class, Ayton, Bentinck and Brant. The churches there eventually joined with the Evangelical United Brethren.

One of the oldest congregations in the Evangelical United Brethren Church, the area around Blenheim, Ontario was home to German-speaking settlers served by Evangelical missionaries on the Waterloo and Hamburg circuits in the 1840s. In 1865 Blenheim Circuit, including appointments at Plattsville and Blenford, was created. With alterations the circuit remained in the Evangelical Association, and the church at Roseville was opened in the 1920s. In 1968 it became part of the United Church of Canada.

The Waterloo Circuit of the United Brethren in Christ had preaching places to German Canadians in West Montrose in Woolwich Township, Bloomingdale, Berlin now Kitchener, Hawksville, Breslau, Bridgeport and Freeport, Ontario, in the 1870s, although by 1915 it had been reduced to Waterloo, Bloomingdale and West Montrose.

The St. Clair Indian Mission in Sarnia Township was begun in 1832 by the Wesleyan Methodist Mission Society, although the itinerant mixed-race missionary, Peter Jones, had visited the Chippewa Indians of the St. Clair Reserve as early as 1829. The Mission later became the St. Clair United Church.
