The Claremont Street Italian (Methodist) Mission, located at 160 Claremont Street, was built by the Italian Mission in 1910. The Italian Missions joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. The Italian Missions later became St. Paul's Italian United Church.

St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church was dedicated in 1831 at the corner of Church and Adelaide streets in Toronto. In 1876 a new St. Andrew's was opened at King and Simcoe streets in the city, but a dispute in the congregation led to a breakaway group moving to the corner of Carlton & Jarvis streets under the name Old St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. This church joined union in 1925, and became known at Old St. Andrew's United Church.

In 1950 Old St. Andrew's and Westminster-Central joined forces as St. Andrew's United Church at the present site on Bloor Street, with the Old St. Andrew's site being put up for sale. In 1981 this congregation agreed to a real estate deal with Bramalea Corp. which led to redevelopment of the St. Andrew's site.

James Clarke MacDonald (1888-1966) was a Presbyterian/United Church minister and missionary to Trinidad. He was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia; he graduated from Dalhousie University in 1911 and the Presbyterian College in 1914, at which point he began a thirty-three year ministry in Trinidad. He spent his retirement years in Trinidad.

Alton United Church, located at 1532 Queen Street East in Caledon, was established in 1925, formerly Presbyterian and Methodist. The Methodist Church in Alton was established in 1850 and the first church building was located on Queen Street. A second church was constructed in 1879 farther east on Queen Street. Alton Presbyterian Church was ereceted in 1873. Alton Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church in Alton united in 1925 and became part of the United Church of Canada. Alton United Church closed ca. 2009.

Burns United Church in Moore Township was established in 1925, formerly Presbyterian. The Burns Presbyterian Church formed in 1863 and was named after Dr. Burns who performed the first service at the church. A new church was built in 1886. It joined the United Church in 1925 and formed a two point charge with Mooreline. It closed ca. 1986.

It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. In 1927, Providence United Church joined Mooreline. In 1931, Lucasville joined Mooreline. The church closed ca. 1986 when it amalgamated with Burns United Church.

Aurora United Church, located at 15186 Yonge Street in Aurora, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The Aurora Methodist Episcopal Church was built in 1818 at the corner of Yonge and Tyler Streets. A larger church was built in 1855 with the original building moved to be the Sunday School. Following a fire in 1877, a new building was erected. Opening services was held on October 1, 1878. In 1884, the church became Aurora Methodist Church, and then in 1925, it joined the United Church of Canada. In 2014, the church was destroyed by fire, including its historical records. The congregation began worshipping at Trinity Anglican Church. Aurora United Church is an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Elora Pastoral Charge includes Elora United Church and Bethany United Church, since 1950. Elora Methodist Church has roots as far back as 1835. The first worship services being held in a private residence. The first church building was built out of logs in 1845. In 1862 the land of the current building was purchased. The first worship held in the brick church at the current location was in 1863. In 1925, the church joined the United Church. Elora United Church, formerly Methodist, was established in 1925.

The congregation was formally dedicated on March 4, 1956. It's roots goes further back with Brooklyn Mission Sunday School, 1887. When the congregation size increased and outgrew the church, a new property was purchased on Dean Avenue. In 1962, a new church and Christian Education building was dedicated. The congregation is still located at 87 Dean Avenue and is still an active part of the United Church of Canada.

St. Paul Street United Church, formerly Methodist, was established in 1925. In 2008 the church amalgamated with Memorial and Welland Avenue to form Silver Spire United Church. Silver Spire uses the building of the former St. Paul Street United Church.

Edward Wilson Wallace (1880-1941) was a missionary to China, and Chancellor and President of Victoria University. The son of Francis Huston Wallace, Edward Wilson Wallace was born in Cobourg, Ontario, 1880, studied at Victoria University and Columbia University, and was appointed by the Methodist Church to the China mission field in 1906. He managed mission schools, taught at West China Union University, and was appointed General Secretary of the West China Educational Union in 1912 and of the China Church Educational Association in 1921. He served as Chancellor and President of Victoria University from 1929 until his death in 1941.

White Chapel, also called Conger's Chapel, was erecred in 1809, with funds from Stephen Conger. Stephen Conger was a devout Methodist and was appointed a Justice of the Peace in the area.The White Chapel has been maintained as a place of worship for a longer period than any other church of Methodist origin in all of Ontario. That chaple is open to visitors and for special events.

Presbyteries in the United Church of Canada are courts of the Church within geographical boundaries made up of a number of Pastoral Charges. Presbytery membership consists of ordained ministers of the Charges within the Presbytery, United Church lay persons, and corresponding members. A grouping of Presbyteries within a larger geographical area make up a Conference, a higher court of the Church. The functions of the Presbytery include: overseeing Pastoral Charges within its bounds, including the designation of new Charges; receiving and disposing of petitions and appeals from lower governing bodies or courts; transmitting the above to higher bodies or courts; licensing lay persons recommended after examination; overseeing education of students looking forward to ministry and supervision of members of the Order of Ministry within its bounds. Lindsay Presbytery was established in 1925 within the boundaries of Bay of Quinte Conference. It closed in 2012 with the restructuring of Bay of Quinte Conference.

Cedar Glen Conference Centre was established in 1961 as the Toronto Camp and Conference Centre, and was known as the Cedar Glen Camp and Conference Centre until 1979, when the name was changed to Cedar Glen Conference Centre. It was located on rural land in King Township, near Bolton, and was administered by a Board of Directors which included representatives of Toronto Conference. From the beginning its mandate was largely to provide recreational, inspirational and educational actvities and facilities, including camping, for church, community and business groups. In 1976, when it was accredited as a national training centre, it launched a development programme which included camping, leadership training, and personal growth and family counselling; and in 1983 a new covenant between the Centre and Toronto Conference stated its purpose was to provide a Christian hosting facility with lay/clergy learning opportunities.

The Centre continued to operate as a Christian development and retreat centre for United Church congregations and organizations in the Toronto area until 2000, when financial constraints forced its closure. In 2001 the property was sold to the Greater Toronto YMCA.

Wilson Heights United Church in North York was established in 1952. The church building was opened in 1955 and was located at 68 Collinson Boulevard, north-west of the intersection of Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue. In 1968 Wilson Heights became part of Armour Heights United Church.

Davisville Methodist Church was dedicated in 1887. in 1925 the church became part of the United Church under the name Glebe Road United Church.
The Wesleyan Methodists had operated a mission in the Davisville area as early as 1850-51, while the Primitive Methodists were active in the area by 1865. After the Methodist union of 1884, a new church was built on the west side of Yonge Street opposite Belsize Drive, just north of Davisville Avenue; this building was dedicated in 1887. In 1925, the congregation moved to a new building at 20 Glebe Road East, just north and east of Yonge and Davisville. At this time, the name Glebe Road United Church was adopted.

Riverside-Emery United was established in January 1970 with the amalgmation of Riverside United Church and Emery United Church and used the Riverside building. The church building was destroyed by arson in 1979, and a new building was opened in 1980. It was located at 2799 Weston Road, just north of Wilson Avenue. The church disbanded on June 30, 2014.

Riverside United Church was established in 1951, with services initially offered in temporary and shared locations. A new church was built and dedicated in 1957.

Emery United Church was begun in 1960 with services initially offered in Daystrom Public School in the town of Weston. A site at 3550 Weston Road was purchased in that same year, and in 1964 the Constituting Service was held in a portable building on that site. The congregation almalgamated with Riverside Church in January, 1970, forming Riverside-Emery United.

Central Methodist Church opened in the village of Yorkville, Ontario in 1841 as the Wesleyan Chapel. In 1854 Yorkville Wesleyan Methodist Church relocated to Bloor Street, at Gwynne, east of Yonge. It assumed the name Central Methodist around 1865. Church union in 1925 brought together Central Methodist and Westminster Presbyterian to form Westminster-Central United Church which met in the 'new' Westminster building.

Eglinton-St. George's United Church was established in 1999 with the amalgamation of Eglinton United Church and St. George's United Church in the old St. George's building. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

St. George's United Church, located 35 Lytton Blvd. (Lytton & Duplex Ave.) Toronto, was established in 1925; formerly Presbyterian. In 1880, a Presbyterian mission in the Yonge and Eglinton area was opened, and Eglinton Presbyterian became a church in 1890. In 1909, a new building was opened at Yonge St. and St. Clements Ave. This building was purchased by the Toronto Public Library in 1924 and the present church was opened at Lytton. Upon joining the United Church of Canada in 1925, the congregation took on the name, St. George's. In 1999 it disbanded with the amalgamation with Eglinton United Church

Eglinton United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. In 1830, a group of trustees, including Peter Lawrence (namesake of Lawrence Avenue) purchased land at the what is now Glengrove Avenue at Yonge Street for a Methodist church. The building was not fully constructed when it was destroyed by fire in 1831. A new building was constructed between 1832 and 1834 and was known as the Brick Chapel, or Yonge Street Church. In 1857, it officially became known as Eglington Methodist Church. In 1914, a new lot was purchased at 65 Sheldrake Boulevard, east of Yonge Street, and the new church opened on December 21, 1924. It joined the United Church in 1925. It disbanded in 1999 with the amalgamation with St. George's United Church.

Westmoreland United Church, at the corner of Westmoreland and Hallam streets, north of Bloor Street, in Toronto began as a Methodist mission of the Metropolitan Church in 1884. It was called the Dovercourt Mission (1886), and by 1892 the congregation had been entered into the rolls as Westmoreland. A fire in 1908 necessitated a new building which was completed in the following year. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. In 1988, Westmoreland amalgamated with Westley-Grace-Carmen to form Westennial United Church.

Trethewey United Church, located at Brookhaven and Trethewey Drives, was established on November 25, 1954. Prior to 1954, the congregation was known as Harding Avenue United Church, which had joined the United Church of Canada on November 22, 1946. Prior to that it was a Sunday School mission in the community of Hardington. Trethewey Park Closed in 1971.

St. John's United Church in Scarborough was established ca. 1956. Services took place at Vradenburg School until a new portable church was opened in March 1957. St. John's was then constituted as a congregation on April 16, 1957. A church was built and later dedicated on March 27, 1960. It was located at 2 Nobert Road in the Agincourt community of Toronto, southeast from Victoria Park Road and Sheppard Avenue East. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Mount Dennis United Church was established in 1960 with the amalgamation of Chalmers United Church and Pearen Memorial United Church both in the Mount Dennis area of the City of York. In 1965, a new building was constructed to replace the Pearen building. In February 2012, the congregation sold its church building and all remaining members joined Central United Church, Weston. The closure of the congregation was officially June 30, 2013.

Chalmers United Church in the Mount Dennis area of the City of York was established in 1925; formerly Mount Dennis Presbyterian Church, which was founded in 1913. The church building was located at the corner of Dennis Avenue and Guestville Avenue, southwest of the intersection of Eglinton Avenue West and Weston Road. In 1960, Chalmers United with Pearen Memorial United Church to form Mount Dennis United Church in the Pearen building.

Pearen Memorial United Church in the Mount Dennis area of the City of York was established in 1925; formerly Mount Dennis Methodist Church, which was founded in 1903. Tthe church building was located on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West, just west of Weston Road. Pearen Memorial was named in honour of the congregation's first Methodist minister, Rev. James Pearen. It closed in 1960 with the formation of Mount Dennis United Church.

Harwood United Church was established 1902 originally as a branch mission from Westminster Presbyterian on Bloor Street. It joined Union in 1925 and amalgamated with Mount Dennis United Church in 1962.

Silverthorn United Church in the City of York was established in 1925; formerly Silverthorn Methodist Church, which was founded in 1914. The church closed in 1995, and the congregation amalgamated with Mount Dennis United Church.

Cummer Avenue United Church was created in 2013 with the amalgamation of Newtonbrook United Church and Northminster United Church. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.
Newtonbrook United Church was established in 1925; formerly Methodist. In 1840, a new Methodist chapel was formed in 1840 as part of the Wesleyan Methodist Circuit at Yonge and Finch on th northwest corner. A church was built in 1858, dedicated as Newtonbrook Wesleyan Methodist Church. In 1888 the original church burnt down and a new one was constructed at 5670 Yonge Street. In 1959 this property was sold to a developer and property was purchased at 53 Cummer Avenue. A new building was dedicated on February 17, 1960, with an addition added in 1962. On July 1, 2013, Newtonbrook united with Northminster United Church to form Cummer Avenue United Church, at the former Newtonbrook church building.
Northminster United Church in North York was established in 1956. The church building was dedicated in 1961 and was located at 255 Finch Avenue West, near Bathurst Street, in the urban community of Willowdale. On July 1, 2013, Northminster united wth Newtonbrook United Church to form Cummer Avenue United Church.

Hillcrest United Church was established in 1964 with the first service held at Cresthaven Drive Public School. The following year, services were held in a portable church. In 1966, the congregation was officially constituted, and two years later, Hillcrest United Church joined St. Cyprian Anglican Church and Iaona Presbyterian Church to form the Tri-Congregational Church, where each denomination held services. It was located at 1080 Finch Avenue East. Hillcrest United Church disbanded in 2003.

Glen Ayr United Church was constituted as a congregation of the United Church in March 1960; prior to that members had met and worshiped first at St. Andrew's school (1959) and then in a portable church building beginning in January 1960. The church building, located at the corner of Brimorton and Neapolitan Drives in the Bendale area of Scarborough, officially opened September 5, 1962. In 1998, Scarborough amalgamated with Metropolitan Toronto to become the city of Toronto. The congregation disbanded on June 30, 2013.

Dashwood-Zurich Pastoral charge was created in 1979 when Dashwood and Zurich amalgamated. The Dashwood preaching point is the Calvary United Church and Zurich consisted of the Emmanuel United Church.

Emmanuel United Church, located at Mill Street in Zurich, was established in 1968. Initially a point on the Huron Mission of the Evangelical Association, Zurich was a rural preaching stop where German-speaking farmers received religious instruction in the 1850s. Emmanuel Church was built in 1874, and remained with the Evangelical denomination through its alterations, first as the Emmanuel Evangelical Church and then as the Emmanuel Evangelical United Brethren in 1946, until union was effected with the United Church in 1968. Church is known as Emmanuel United Church as well as colloquially the Zurich United Church. The church closed on December 31, 2015.

Calvary United Church, formerly Calvary Evangelical United Brethren Church, closed December 31, 2017.

Erskine United Church was established in 1925. It was founded in 1886 as Ruth Street (now Fern Avenue) Presbyterian Mission, sponsored by Parkdale Presbyterian Church. In 1894, the congregation was re-named Fern Avenue Presbyterian Church and a new building was opened in 1910, located on the corner of Roncesvalles Avenue and Wright Avenue (the current address is 214 Wright Avenue), between Queen Street West and Bloor Street West. At this time, the congregation was re-named High Park Presbyterian Church. At the time of church union in 1925, the name Erskine was chosen in order to avoid confusion with another congregation with the name High Park. In 1961, Erskine united with North Parkdale United Church to form Emmanuel United Church in the Erskine building.
