Bracebridge United Church, located at 46 Dominion St North in Bracebridge, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. Bracebridge Methodist Church was established in 1861 and a church building was erected in 1868 at the current location. A new church was dedicated in 1889. Bracebridge joined the United Church in 1925. It is still an active congregation of the United Church fo Canada.

Bradford United Church, located at 66 Barrie Street in Bradford, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The Bradford Methodist Church officially opened in 1851, although there had been a Methodist presence in Bradford as early as 1834. The church was constructed at Lot 15, Concession 7, West Gwillimbury. It formed part of a Methodist circuit with Ebenzer Church in West Gwillimbury Township, Sutherland's Church in West Gwillimbury Township, Mount Pleasant Church in West Gwillimbury Township and Gilford. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925 and formed part of a three-point pastoral charge with Ebenezer Church (until ca. 1927) and Holland Landing (until ca. 1988). Holland Landing United Church became a separate charge ca. 1989.Bradford United Church is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Braemar United Church Women were formed in 1962. The group was originally established as a Woman's Missionary Society unit of Oxford Presbytery and continued until the formation of the United Church Women. The group disbanded in 1995.

Brandon Residential School

Brandon Residential School was located in the municipality of Cornwallis, in southern Manitoba, five kilometres northwest of Brandon, on the north bank of the Assiniboine River. The Board of Missions of The Methodist Church of Canada operated the school from 1895 until it was transferred to the Board of Home Missions of The United Church of Canada in 1925. In 1969 the Department of Indian Affairs assumed management (then a residence only) and turned it over to the Roman Catholic Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate until its closure in 1972.

Brant Avenue was established in 1925, formerly Methodist; in 1937 the former congregation of St. Andrews United Church joined; and in 1995 Brant Avenue amalgamated with Zion United Church to form St. Andrew's United Church in the former Zion building. Brant Avenue Methodist Church was established circa 1871 as a Wesleyan Methodist church; it joined the United Church of Canada in 1925

The Brechin community was made up largely of coal miners' families. The first Methodist church services were held in homes, beginning in 1905. By 1910, Brechin was part of the Wellington Circuit, which included five preaching points: Wellington, East Wellington, Brechin, South Wellington and Cedar. A community hall, known as Brechin Hall, was moved onto a lot donated by the CPR on Estevan Road; it was used as a day school and Sunday school. When the mines closed in 1913, the Hall was given to the Methodist Church. This structure served as the church building until 1958. After church union in 1925, Brechin United Church became part of the Wellington Pastoral Charge.

In 1931, the Nanaimo Suburban Pastoral Charge was formed, comprised of a varying number of preaching points over the years. In 1958, a new building was constructed at the corner of Brechin and Estevan Roads; the building was dedicated on October 11, 1958 and the old Brechin Hall was demolished shortly afterward.

Brechin United Church became a separate independent charge in Comox-Nanaimo Presbytery in 1961, where it remained until the end of presbyteries in 2019. The church building was demolished in early 2019 and a new church and housing complex was built, owned and managed by the Pacific Mountain's housing society.

Belleville Wesleyan Methodist Circuit was established 1834, from the Belleville Methodist Episcopal Circuit; in 1874 it became the Belleville Methodist Circuit. Belleville Methodist Circuit was established 1874; after the 1884 Methodist merger in 1884 it joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. Bleecker Street Methodist Church was established circa 1859; it closed between 1911 and 1925. Bridge Street Methodist Church was established circa 1815 as a Methodist Episcopal church; it joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. John Street United Church was established 1925, formerly Presbyterian; it closed in 1937. Dundas Street Mission was established 1925, formerly Methodist. Bridgenorth Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925; formerly Methodist; from 1925 to ca.1968, it included Bridgenorth, Fairview, and Selwyn; in ca.1969 and ca.1970, Bridgenorth was part of the Bridgenorth-Wesley Pastoral Charge, which included Bridgenorth, Wesley, Curve Lake, and Lakehurst; in ca.1971 Bridgenorth Pastoral Charge was re-formed as a single point charge.

Brighouse United Church in Richmond was officially constituted as a congregation in January of 1926. The congregation met initially in the Richmond Municipal Hall for services. The first church building was opened in June 1927. Within a decade, it was evident that a larger building was needed. A new building was opened in September 1940 at 816 Granville Avenue; it was extended and remodeled in 1956. To accommodate growth, a church hall was added during 1951-1952. Although originally part of the Richmond pastoral charge (along with Richmond United Church), Brighouse became a separate charge in 1958. In 1974, the church building was moved to 8151 Bennett Road. Brighouse United was part of Vancouver South Presbytery until the Presbytery was disbanded in 2019. The congregation disbanded in June 2023.

Bright - Chesterfield Pastoral Charge was formed ca. 1930 when Chesterfield was added to the Bright Pastoral Charge, which had consisted of Bright and Bethel Church in Blandford Township. The charge was also known as Bright-Chesterfield-Bethel Pastoral Charge before Bethel Church closed ca. 1971. The charge amalgamated with Plattsville-Washington Pastoral Charge in 2010.

Britannia United Church, located at 5961 Hurontario Street in Mississauga, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. Established as a Wesleyan Methodist Church in 1821 at Gardner's Clearing, the settlement changed its name to Britannia in 1890. The church was built ca. 1843. It was located at the corner of Hurontario Street and Britannia Road West. It closed October 31, 2006.

Early church services at Britannia were held in the home of Ira Honeywell. Britannia Methodist church was built at the corner of Carling Avenue and Britannia Road during 1873-4. It was a little painted wood building with arched Gothic style windows and door. It had no basement or running water. The first minister was Rev. R. Short who served 3 congregations, Britannia, Fallowfield and Bells Corners. Britannia Methodist became Britannia United with church union in 1925. After the basement was excavated in 1925 a great deal of activity took place downstairs. In 1961 the congregation moved to the new Christian Education Center on Pinecrest Road.

The British Methodist Episcopal Church was estabished by American missionaries of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church who worked among the blacks who had migrated from the United States after 1834. They organized themselves as a Canadian Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. After several years they decided they did not want to be subject to foreign bishops and discipline. Concessions were made to the A.M.E. Church resulting in the Canadian Conference becoming a self governing and responsible body. In 1856 the British Methodist Episcopal Church of Canada was organized in Chatham, Ontario.

Broadview Avenue Congregational Church was established circa 1883 on Broadview Avenue (formerly Don Mount). In 1925 it joined the United Church of Canada amalgamating with Simpson Avenue Methodist Church.The Broadview building was sold in that year.

The first year that Brock Street Methodist Church in Kingston is listed in the published Montreal Conference minutes is 1891; 1891 also marks the first time that Jubilee Methodist Church and Wesley Methodist Church are not listed, so it appears that Brock in some way replaced one or both of these churches--through an amalgamation, a name change, or for some other reason; Brock Street Church closed ca.1922.

The Brooklin Methodist Church joined the United Church in 1925 as part of the Brooklin and Kedron Pastoral Charge. Brooklin Presbyterian Church was established ca.1870s; it joined the United Church in 1925 and was part of the Columbus and Brooklin Pastoral Charge.In 1926, the two United Churches in Brooklin formed a local union and served in the former Methodist Church. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Brownsville Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925, formerly Methodist; it included Brownsville, Delmer, and Culloden, and later Brownsville-Culloden. The charge amalgamated with Avondale Zion Pastoral Charge to form Trinity (Tillsonburg) Pastoral Charge.

Brownsville-Culloden United Church was established ca. 1974 when Culloden United Church closed and its congregation joined Brownsville in the Brownsville church. It closed on May 1, 2011.

Brownsville United Church, located at 292262 Culloden Line in Brownsville, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. A Methodist class was established in Brownsville in 1842 and in 1856, a frame church was erected. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It closed ca. 1974 when the congregation amalgamated with Culloden to form Brownsville-Culloden United Church.

building was constructed that year. The Culloden Methodist Church was built in 1861; the congregation formed part of Brownsville Methodist Circuit with Corinth, Brownsville, Delmer and Bayham.From 1915 Lyons, Culloden and Ebenzer formed a circuit. Culloden Methodist Church, Culloden Presbyterian Church and Ebenezer Methodist Church combined to form the Culloden United Church in 1925, and was part of Verschoyle Charge. In 1930, the church joined the Brownsville Charge. a new building was constructed in 1955. It closed ca. 1974 and its members joined Brownsville-Culloden United Church.

Brucefield - Kippen Pastoral Charge was formed ca. 1961 when Brucefield and Kippen United Churches joined a two-point pastoral charge; it was frequently referred to as just Brucefield Pastoral Charge. It was discontinued when Brucefield-Kippen and Varna-Goshen Pastoral Charges amalgamated on October 1, 2013 to form Brucefield Community United Church in the Brucefield United Church. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Brucefield Union Church, or Brucefield United Presbyterian Church, was formed on March 10, 1876. A church building was erected in 1908. It united with the Methodists to form Brucefield United Church.

St. Andrew's United Church in Kippen was established in 1925, formerly Presbyterian. Although there were Presbyterians in the area as early as 1851, a church was only erected in 1867 with its opening services held on December 22, 1867. A Sunday School addition was added ca. 1903 but there was a gas explosion in November 1903; it was repaired and reopened the following year. A local union between St. Andrew's and the Kippen Methodist Church occurred on October 2, 1925 and the congregation was named St. Andrew's United Church. It formed part of a two-point charge with Hillgreen United Church from 1925-ca. 1960 until St. Andrew's joined Brucefield Pastoral Charge. It was located at 40046 Kippen Road. It closed in 2013.

Brussels - Ethel Pastoral Charge was formed in 1955 when Ethel United Church amalgamated with Brussels United Church.

Brussels United Church, located at 61 King St in Brussels, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. Brussels Methodist Church was built in 1876 and the church officially opened on January 11, 1877. The church was badly damaged by fire on March 1, 1924. It joined the United Church of Canada and formed part of a single point charge until it joined Ethel to form Brussels-Ethel charge. It was also known as Union United Church. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Ethel United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The Methodist Church in Ethel was built and opened on July 1, 1877 although services had been held in personal homes and in the school for some time. It joined the United Church of Canada and formed a three point charge with Roe's and Union churches. In 2012, the congregation disbanded.

Bryanston United Church, located at 22925 Highbury Ave North in Bryanston, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist.The Bryanston Methodist Church was erected in 1877. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925 and formed part of Bryanston Pastoral Charge with Ebenezer Church in West Nissouri Township and Centenary Church in London Township. It then joined Siloam Pastoral to form Siloam-Bryanston Pastoral Charge ca. 1936. Bryanston United Church separated from Siloam-Bryanston charge ca. 1962 and became a single-point charge. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Buckhorn Pastoral Charge was created in 1971 as a continuation of the Bridgenorth-Wesley Pastoral Charge, itself a continuation of the Wesley Pastoral Charge which was created at the commencement of the United Church in 1925. The Charge had preaching places at Bridgenorth, Lakehurst and the Curve Lake Indian Reserve. The Buckhorn Pastoral Charge is now a two point charge including Wesley, in Lakefield, and Curve Lake. It is a member of the Indigenous Church.

Burgessville Pastoral Charge was established in 1925; formerly a Methodist Circuit. It included Burgessville, Zenda, Newark, and New Durham (ca. 1946). Zenda left the charge ca. 1946 and joined Salford Pastoral Charge.

Burk's Falls Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925 as a single-point charge. Following the closure of Berriedale Pastoral Charge ca. 1954, it then included Katrine, Chetwynd, Ely and Berriedale, and then from 1968, following the dissolution of Magnetawan-Dunchurch Pastoral Charge, Magnetawan. In May 2013, the charge divided into two charges to form Trinity (Magnetawan) Pastoral Charge and Burk's Falls - Katrine Pastoral Charge.

Magnetawan - Dunchurch Pastoral Charge was formed in 1955 when Dunchurch and Magnetawan Pastoral Charges merged. It included Dunchurch, Magnetawan, Maple Island, Ahmic Harbour, Ardbeg, Sunny Slope, and Whitestone. The charge was discontinued ca. 1968 when McKellar - Dunchurch Pastoral Charge and Burk's Falls - Magnetawan Pastoral Charge were formed.

Burk's Falls United Church, located at 135 Yonge Street, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist and Presbyterian. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Trinity United Church, located at 141 Sparks Street in Magnetawan, was established in 1925, formerly a union church. The Methodist Church was established in the Magnetawan area in 1873 as part of the Rousseau circuit and then in 1874, it became its own circuit. A second church building was built in 1900. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. The church is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.|Knox Union Church in Dunchurch was established in 1925, formerly a union church. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada in Toronto Conference.

Katrine United Church, located at 52 Dog Lake Road in Katrine, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist and Presbyterian. Katrine Methodist Church was built in 1892 and united with the Presbyterian Church in 1925 to form Katrine United Church. Until 1950, the congregation did not have regular services. In 1950, the church reopened as part of the Berriedale Pastoral Charge. Five years later it joined the Burk's Falls Pastoral Charge. It is still an active congregation of the United Church.
