Centennial-Rouge Pastoral Charge, Scarborough, was established in 1950 as Centennial-Fairport-Rouge Pastoral Charge, after Centennial United Church in Scarborough and Fairport United Church left Dunbarton-Fairport Pastoral Charge. In the mid-1950s, Fairport returned to a two-point charge with Dunbarton. Centennial-Rouge continued as a two-point charge until Rouge Hill United Church closed in 1971. It was then a single-point charge until it disbanded in 2011. In 1998, Scarborough amalgamated with Metropolitan Toronto to form the city of Toronto.

Centennial-Rouge United Church, located at 6540 Kingston Road in Scarborough, was formed in 1971 with the amalgamation of Centennial United Church in Scarborough and Rouge Hill United Church in Pickering. The church held its final service on June 26, 2011.

Centennial United Church in Scarborough was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The Centennial Methodist Church in Scarborough was formed in 1883 as a merger of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in the Village of Highland Creek and the Bible Christian Methodist Church in Pickering. The members alternated buildings to host services until a new building was complete in 1891. At this time, the members decided to call the church Centennial Methodist Church. It formed part of the Washington Methodist Circuit until 1925. The Church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925.

Rouge Hill United Church, located in Pickering, was established in 1949. The first Church, however, was not dedicated until February 25, 1962. In 1971, the church amalgamated with Centennial United Church in Scarborough in 1971 to form Centennial-Rouge United Church.

Bruce Mines, located at 18 Williams Street in Bruce Mines, was established in 1925, fomerly Union. The Methodists had been in Bruce Mines for some time before establishing a church in 1905. The Presbyterians started having services in the community in 1890 and a church was erected in 1894. In 1917, the Methodists and Presbyterians formed a Union church with services being held in the Methodist building. The church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

St. Paul's United Church, located at 62 Peter Street North in Orillia, was established as a Methodist mission in 1831. In 1870, the church building at Peter and Coldwater Streets was built. Addtitions were added in 1890 and 1911. The congregation joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It is an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Fonthill United Church, located at 42 Church Hill in Fonthill, was established in 1925, fomerly Methodist. It formed part of Fonthill Pastoral Charge, which included Fonthill and Allanburg. It became a one-point charge in 1959 when Allanburg became its own pastoral charge. Fonthill United Church is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

The Canadian Girls in Training (C.G.I.T.) movement began in the summer of 1915 a meeting in Toronto of representatives of the Methodist, Presbyterian, Anglican and Baptist Sunday School Associations, the Canadian Council of Provincial Sunday School Associations, and the Dominion Council of the YWCA led to the establishment of the Canadian National Advisory Committee for Co-Operation in Girl’s Work. In October of 1916 the Committee published a pamphlet titled Canadian Girl’s in Training, and the program it outlined was launched across the country in the following year. The movement expanded so rapidly that by 1920 it was necessary to introduce a more formal organization which led to the establishment of committees an boards at National, Provincial and local levels. Canadian Girls in Training is still active today.

All Saints Anglican Church, was built in 1929. In 1979 the congregation joined with Rouyn Mission Field to form a shared Anglican and United Church ministry. The shared church was called All Saints Church.

Aldborough [Churchville] was initially a part of the Elgin Mission (1861), the Aldborough area was home to German-speaking farmers. A separate Aldborough Mission was established by the Evangelical Association in 1885, and it later was promoted to the status of a Circuit. In 1949 the church amalgamated with Zion Church in Rodney to form Calvary Memorial Evangelical United Brethren Church.

St. Pual's Methodist Church, was established in 1884. The first methodist Church building was completed in 1875, a new larger church, the current St. Paul's United Church, was build in 1897 on the same grounds as the first building. In 1925, the church became a United Church.

Barrie Primitive Methodist Church, was build on the corner of Toronto and Elizabeth (now Dunlop) streets in 1872. In 1884, with the Methodist church Union, the Barrie Congregation took the name Elizabeth Street Methodist.

Beachburg Methodist Church was established ca. 1892, at the time of church union the congregation joined St. Andrew's Presbyterian to form St. Andrew's United Church in the Presbyterian building. The Methodist Church building was sold in 1929, the funds from the sale were used to build an extension on the church building that is currently the choir room and the back kitchen in the basement.

Wilfred Cornett Lockard (1906-1991) was born in Dundalk, Ontario. He received a B.A. from Victoria College, at the University of Toronto in 1929, and a M.A. from Emmanuel College in 1932. He was ordained by Toronto Conference in 1933, and also married his wife, Margaret that year. He served as minister in North Leith Parish, Edinburg from 1933-1935 while earning his Ph.D. in Church History. Following that, he was Secretary of The Student Christian Movement and Padre of Hart House at the University of Toronto from 1935-1940, during which time he was also the first Secretary of the Canadian Committee of the World Council of Churches. He was Minister of Sherbourne Street United in Toronto from 1940-1942, and Kingsway Lambton in Toronto from 1942-1955. He was the first Principal of United College, Winnipeg from 1955-1967, President and Vice Chancellor of the University of Winnipeg from 1967-1971. He served as Moderator of the United Church from 1966-1968, and also served the General Council office as Chairman of Toronto West Presbytery, the Board of Schools and Colleges of the United Church (1946-1955), the Department of Ecumenical Affairs for the Canadian Council of Churches (1946-1955), Winnipeg Presbytery (1962-1963). Lockhart died in 1991.

Beaverton Presbyterian Church, also referred to as "Old Stone" church and St. Andrew's, was founded in 1835, and construction on the current stone building was completed in 1853. In 1991, it was designated a national historic site and the Beaverton Presbyterian Church undertook it's restoration. Currently it is being used for special services and during the summer months. This church is part of the Presbyterian Church of Canada.

The Presbyterian congregation in Bluevale was established in 1854 with services held at the school. A church building was erected in 1907 and named Knox Presbyterian Church. The Methodist and Presbyterian churches joined the United Church of Canada in 1925 to form Bluevale United Church.

Bobcaygeon Presbyterian Church, known as Knox Presbyterian, was funded as early as 1836. the first building was built around 1867, was destroyed by fire un 1899. A new building was opened in 1901. The church did not join the United Church and remains an active congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Canada.

Cook's United Church was established in 1925, formerly Presbyterian. Services first bevan in Sutherland's school hourse in 1862 in Caradoc Township. Cook's Presbyterian Church, located on Concession 2 was built in 1867 and named in memory of Rev. Dr. Cook, moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. The church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It formed part of a three-point charge with Sutherland's and South Caradoc until ca. 1955. It then became part of Mount Brydges Pastoral Charge. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Chisholm United Church, located at 1469 Chiswick Line, Powassan, was established in 1925, formerly a union church.The Methodists and Presbyterian united in 1918 to become the Union Church of Chisholm, meeting in the Methodist building. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Grace United Church (Gananoque, Ont.) was established in 1925; formerly Methodist. Gananoque Methodist Circuit was established in 1836; originally Wesleyan; it joined the Methodist Church, Canada, in 1884; it included Grace Methodist Church in Gananoque, Lansdowne, Pittsburgh (now Ballantyne Crossing), and Bethel Church in Front of Leeds and Lansdowne Township; by the time of church union in 1925, only Grace Church remained on the circuit.
