Biographical history

Alexander Cameron was born in Nova Scotia and educated at Dalhousie University and Queen's University, where he studied theology. He was ordained by Ottawa Presbytery in 1874 and served as missionary to CPR construction camps, first between Winnipeg and Fort William (1878-1885), and then between Revelstoke and Calgary (1885-1902). He served other charges in B.C. until retiring in 1915.
