Previously described under Japan - Kofu - Schools - Yamanashi Eiwa Gakuin (alumni) - Alumni meeting, 1902 Typewritten note on piece of paper attached to verso of card reads: Mr. Shinkai, Mr. Isagawa (foreign dress) teacher of Chinese. Mr. Yamada, Teacher of Japanese; Mr. Isagawa became a Christian since coming to our school, and he is now one of the pillars of the church. He was a Confucianist. Mikoda San, matron, holds the branch of a tree, sitting near the water. Yuki San, daughter of the evangelist, and Hiraiwa San, daughter of the Rev. Y. Hiraiwa, are two of our teachers. They stand second and third from the right.
