Arnstein Evangelical United Brethren Church was established in 1887 as part of the Arnstein and Perry Sound Mission (including Mills, Deer Lake, Rye) of the Evangelical Association. A log church building was constructed in 1888 and a frame church was later built in 1905. In 1966, the congregation had been served by the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptists. It did not join the United Church of Canada.
Custodial history
Records were stored in the vault of Zion United Church in Kitchener, formerly Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, and were transferred to the United Church of Canada Archives when the church disbanded.
This material forms part of the Ontario Regional Councils program of the United Church of Canada Archive.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of annual/congregational meeting minutes of Arnstein Evangelical United Brethren Church (includes Parry Sound and Arnstein Mission, Mills, Deer Lake, and Rye), 188701906, 1919-1952.
