Biographical history
Arthur B. Hames (1849-1931) was a Methodist minister. He was a probationer on missions and circuits in Eastern Ontario from 1870 to 1875. He was ordained in 1875 into the Methodist Church. He served charges in Western Canada from 1875 to 1898, and in Ontario from 1898 to 1919.
Custodial history
This material forms part of the General Council program of the United Church of Canada Archive.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of scrapbook of clippings from the Aurora Banner, "Personal reminiscences of over fifty years in the Methodist ministry," 1925-1927.
