Administrative history
Auburn Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925. It included Knox Church in Auburn, Westfield, and Donnybrook. Donnybrook transferred to Dungannon-Union Pastoral Charge ca. 1985.
Knox United Church, located at 135 Goderich St in Auburn, was established in 1925, formely Presbyterian. Knox Presbyterian Church was established in 1860 and a church building was constructed three years later in March 1863. A second building was constructed in 1904. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.
Westfield United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. It closed on June 29, 1969.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of baptisms, 1939-1952, marriages, 1939-1992, and burials, 1932-1969, of Auburn Pastoral Charge; and communion roll, 1946-1974, and Session minutes, 1980-1993, of Knox United Church, Auburn.
