Bailieboro-Springville Pastoral Charge was formed in 1969 by Springville United Church and Bailieboro United Church (which took on members from the closed Fraserville and Bensfort congregations and changed its name to Emmanuel United Church, Bailieboro). Previously Bailieboro had been, along with Fraserville and Bensfort, points on the Fraserville Pastoral Charge, which had existed since 1925; from 1917 to that date the same three congegations had formed Fraserville Methodist Circuit, and before that had been part of South Monaghan Methodist Circuit
