Administrative history
Berkeley Street United Church, at the corners of Queen Street East and Berkeley Street, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. In 1955 it amalgamated with Regent Park United Church in the Regent Park building, and retained that name. The Berkeley church building became Berkeley Studios, the United Church of Canada's media centre until the studio moved to United Church of Canada General Council Office at 3250 Bloor Street West in Toronto in 1995.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of records, including baptisms, 1880-1882, of Berkeley Street Methodist Church, Toronto, 1839-1924; and records, including baptisms, 1918-1952, marriages, 1918-1956, burials, 1915-1953, of Berkeley Street United Church, Toronto (includes Berkeley Street Methodist Church), 1904-1956.
