Administrative history

Jubilee United Church was established in 2000 following the amalgamation of Bethesda United Church, Donminster United Church and Victoria Village United Church. The congregation used the Donminster United Church building. On July 1, 2017, St. John's United Church in Scarborough United with Jubilee. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Bethesda United Church in North York was established in 1925; formerly Presbyterian. It was located in the urban community of Don Mills. The site of the original Presbyterian church was at the northwest corner of Leslie Street and Lawrence Avenue East. In 1957-58, a new church was built at 69 Larkfield Drive, just north and west of Leslie and Lawrence.

Donminster United Church in North York was established in 1960. The congregation first met at Broadlands Boulevard Public School, and was sometimes referred to as O'Connor Hills United Church. The church building was opened in 1964 and is located at 40 Underhill Drive, just north and east of Lawrence Avenue East and the Don Valley Parkway, in the urban community of Don Mills.

Victoria Village United Church in North York was established in June 1958. Services were held at Sloane Avenue School until the church building at 7 Gretna Avenue was opened in 1961.

Fonds consists of records, including baptisms, 1930-1939 and 1952-1956, and burials, 1930-1938, 1951, 1953, and 1957, of Bethesda United Church in North York (includes York Mills and Fisherville Presbyterian Churches, Bethesda Presbyterian Church), 1842-2000; records, including baptisms, 1967-1999, of Donminster United Church, 1960-2000; records of Victoria Village United Church, 1957-2000.
