Biographical history
Charles Egerton Peacock (1898-1978) was a United Church minister in Newfoundland, Bermuda and Ontario. He was born in England, served as a soldier mechanic in World War I and in 1924, was sent to Newfoundland as a missionary by the Methodist Church of Britain. In 1932, he graduated from Pine Hill Divinity Hall, was ordained and married Pearl Bugden.
