Centennial Albert United Church was formed in 1996 with the amalgamation of Albert Street United Church and Centennial United Church; it is located in the building, which was formerly Centennial United Church.
Albert Street United Church was established in 1925; formerly Methodist.
South Oshawa Methodist Mission was established in 1910 and the first church opened in 1914; it became Albert Street United Church when it joined the United Church of Canada in 1925.
Oshawa Christian Church was established in 1831; it joined the United Church in 1928 and changed its name to the Centre Street United Church.
Westmount United Church, located on Rosehill Avenue, was established in 1945; it amalgamated with Centre Street United Church in 1967 to form the Centennial United Church on a new site on Rosehill Avenue
