The old Queen Street Church, 765 Queen Street West in Toronto , was re-opened in 1928 as the Church of All Nations, in which English-language services were conducted for an International Congregation made up of people from several different national groups (including Japanese, Portuguese, and German). In 1950 the Church of All Nations was joined to Queen Street United, and many of the national groups which had worshipped there began to form their own congregations. The Toronto Japanese Church originally occupied the premises of the old Church of All Nations, before moving to its current location. In 1960 Queen Street United became home to a German Evangelical congregation for a period of four years.
