Dentonia Park United Church in East York was established as MacPherson United Church in 1925; formerly Presbyterian; in order to avoid confusion with the continuing MacPherson Presbyterian Church, MacPherson United Church changed its name to Dentonia Park United Church in 1929; the church is located at 107 Dawes Road, at the corner of Dawes and Dentonia Park Avenue, north and west of Danforth Avenue and Victoria Park Avenue.
