Biographical history
The East Burnaby Methodist Mission was organized in 1910. Following union in 1925, the congregation became part of the Burnaby United Pastoral Charge in 1930 together with Burnaby Lake and Dundonald United congregations. From 1950 to 1954 East Burnaby and Burnaby Lake together constituted the East Burnaby Pastoral Charge. Since 1954 East Burnaby United has constituted a single point charge in Westminster Presbytery.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of the records of East Burnaby United Church and some records from Burnaby Lake United Church. Records include Stewards minutes (1929-1950), Official Board minuted (1950-1954), Congregational meetings minutes (1932-1950); United Church Women B.L.S. Unit minutes (1972-1984); Young People's Union minutes (1961-1963); and Annual reports (1983-1996).
