East Peel Pastoral Charge was formed in 1952 when Caledon East and Mono Road Pastoral Charges united. It included Caledon East, Salem Church in Albion Township, and Sandhill. It ceased to exist ca. 1986 when Caledon East United Church formed its own single-point charge and Salem and Sandhill formed a two-point charge, Salem-Sandhill Pastoral Charge.

Sandhill United Church, located at 13889 Airport Road in Caledon, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925 and formed part of Mono Road Pastoral Charge with Macville and Salem. It then became a point of the East Peel Pastoral Charge in 1952. In 1987, it became a two-point charge with Sandhill. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.

Caledon East United Church, located at 6046 Old Church Rd in Caledon, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The church was established in 1880 as a Primitive Methodist Church and in 1884 it became Caledon East Methodist Church with the formation of the Methodist Church of Canada. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925 and formed part of a pastoral charge with Caesar's United Church in Chinguacousy Township. It formed part of East Peel Pastoral Charge from 1952 to 1986. In 1987, it became a single-point charge. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.
