Emmanuel United Church in the South Aurora community was established on January 17, 1960, and was originally known as Regency Acres United Church. It formed part of a single point charge until ca. 1968 when it joined with Calvary United Church in Newmarket to form Calvary-Newmarket Pastoral Charge. It once again became a separate charge ca. 1976. The congregation closed ca. 1977.
