Administrative history
Erskine United Church, located at Jacqueline Street at Maud Street in London, was established in 1925, formerly Presbyterian. Chelsea Green Presbyterian Church was established in 1906. The church joined the United Church in 1925 and adopted the name Erskine. For the first few years, Erskine United was part of a two-point charge with Grace United Church in London; it became its own charge ca. 1929. In 1939, the congregation purchased a vacant Anglican Church at Adelaide and Edna and was rededicated in 1941. In 1952, the Jacqueline Street property was purchased and a nw church was built and dedicated on April 26, 1953. It disbanded on July 31, 1988.
