Biographical history

F.C. Stephenson was born near Bowmanton, Ontario. He began his work within the Methodist Church as organizer of the Student Missionary Campaign in 1894. He then became the Secretary of the Young People's Forward Movement for Missions, 1906 to 1925. After church union, he served as Secretary of the Young People's Missionary Education Committee of the United Church from 1925 to 1936.

Collection consists of photographic prints made from glass slides associated with the Young People's Forward Movement for Missions (Methodist Church) and Young People's Missionary Education Committee (United Church). Subject matter of the prints relates to British Columbia missions.
