Administrative history
The Presbyterian Church in Canada began work amongst Finnish immigrants in 'New Ontario' in 1913, with a mission to Copper Cliff and surrounding regions. Louise Township (now Waldern) began receiving missionary attention about 1915, and in 1921 a church was opened there, the first public building in the township.
Custodial history
This material forms part of the Ontario Regional Councils program of the United Church of Canada Archive.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of minutes, 1915-1924, accounts, 1922-1924, minutes of the Friends of Folk Dancing Club, 1921, and a subscription list for the church manse, 1921.
