      General note

Accompanying material states: " The George Ryerson Mission Chapel was opened in December 1828, a sketch of which is shown in 'The Story of Our Church' booklet written by Rev. A.C. Forrest, for the Service of Dedication, September 21, 1951. Its location is shown on the attached map drawn by Mr. Harry R. Warren in 1944. The late Mr. George W. Gordon had the contract for the removal of the chapel and school house, in 1888. The photographs of the (5" long) KEY to the CHAPEL were kindly contributed, October 2, 1975, by his Daughters Rhena and Lillian Gordon, our Presbyterian friends."
