Biographical history

Harold Lloyd Morrison (1885-1961) was a Methodist/United Church minister. He was born in Brockville, graduated from Victoria College and did graduate studies in the Union Theological Seminary in New York City and the United Free Church College in Glasgow, Scotland. He also taught at Columbian College, New Westminster, B.C. for two years. He was ordained as a minister of the Methodist Church at Kamloops in 1914 and served at Prince George, Pouce Coupe, Ottawa East, Aylmer, Que., Arnprior, Ottawa South, Kemptville, Tweed, and Almonte Trinity. He also served as Chairman to the Belleville and Renfrew Presbyteries. He was married to Kathleen Cowan, Eva Sully, and Hattie Pinel.

This material forms part of the General Council program of the United Church of Canada Archive.

Scope and content

Fonds consists of a photograph album containing images of Glasgow, Prince George and Aylmer, among others, 1913-1933; and a photograph album containing photographs of Kathleen Cowan, of Columbian College, New Westminster and of Vancouver, 1910-1912.
