传纪历史
Harry Mitchell Pearson (1891-1938) was a Presbyterian/United Church minister and chaplain. He was born in Hamilton and educated at the University of Toronto and Knox College. While a student, 'Mitch' Pearson served at the following charges: Birds Hill, Manitoba, Stouffville, Ontario, Kelly Charge, Killam, Alberta, Baxters Harbour, Nova Scotia, Cape St. George, Newfoundland, Pleasant Bay, Nova Scotia, and Lockeport, Nova Scotia. He also served as chaplain to internment camps at Petawawa and Kapuskasing. It was during this chaplaincy that Rev. Pearson was ordained by the Presbytery of Kapuskasing in 1917. After ordination, Rev. Pearson served the following charges: St. Enoch's, Toronto; Knox United, Kenora; St. Giles', Winnipeg; and Brant Avenue, Brantford. In 1925, he was married to Olive Beatrice McLean. Another part of Rev. Pearson's ministry consisted of writing plays, of which at least one was published, and radio broadcasting. In addition, he taught religious dramatics at Wesley College in Winnipeg.
