Administrative history

Hibbert United Church was formed in 1968 when Staffa United Church was renamed, following the closure of Roy's United Church and Zion United Church. It later became a shared ministry with Cromarty Presbyterian Church. It closed on June 3, 2012.
Staffa Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925, including Staffa, Bethel and Zion. Roy's United Church joined the pastoral charge in 1953.
Staffa United Church was formed in 1925, formerly Methodist. It changed its name to Hibbery United Church in 1968.
Roy's United Church in Fullarton was formed in 1925, formerly Presbyterian. It closed in 1968.
Zion United Church in Hibbert was formed in 1925, formerly Methodist. It closed in 1968
Bethel United Church was formed in 1925, formerly Methodist. It closed in 1927.
Staffa Methodist Circuit was formed in 1884, including Staffa, Zion, Bethel and Salem; it joined the United Church of Canada in 1925.
Staffa Methodist Church was formed ca. 1861. It orginally belonged to the Mitchell Mission of the Wesleyan Methodist Church and then the Fullarton and Hibbert Circuit before becoming part of the Staffa Methodist Circuit. It closed in 1925 when the church joined the United Church of Canada.
