  • "Indigenous peoples" is the collective term used for all original peoples, including First Nations peoples as a whole. The term "First Nations" is only used in the following terms: "First Nations reserves" (and its derivitives), "On-reserve First Nations people", "Off-reserve First Nations people", and "First Nations police forces"
