无标题的The Land Claims Campaign was a five year project launched by the BC Conference in May 1991. It had the dual purposes of education and fundraising in support of Indigenous land claims in the province. Education events addressed questions of land claims and self government. A fundraising goal of one million dollars was set with money raised used to provide grants to B.C. Indigenous peoples to assist with research, political negotiations, legal fees and other related land claims costs. Campaign funds were held in trust and dispersed on the recommendations of the Native Ministries Council of BC Conference (formerly known as the "Coastal Regional Group"); recipients included the Gitksan and Wet'suwet'en for their Supreme Court Case, Delgamuukw v. British Columbia.
