Series associated with the first two sous-fonds are general in nature and consist mainly of committee reports and minutes, as well as correspondence relating to ministry personnel and recruitment. The third sous-fonds consists of a single series containing ministry personnel case files, including those on the Discontinued Service List and deceased personnel. Active personnel files were forwarded to the Office of Vocation in 2018.

Fonds consists of three sous-fonds: Records of the Field Secretaries (1944-1970); Records of the B.C. Conference Christian Education Committee (1932-1969); and Christian Education historical files and photographs (1910-1962).

The first sous-fonds originated with the Field Secretaries and Associate Secretaries of the United Church, although the actual provenance of some of the files is uncertain. Sous-fonds consists of subject files (arranged alphabetically) and correspondence received from national church officers.

The second sous-fonds is comprised mainly of minutes and reports from the Conference Christian Education Committee and its subcommittees, including Boys' Work, Girls' Work, Children's Work, and work with young people (youth).

The final sous-fonds is a collection of materials, primarily publications and photographs relating to many aspects of Christian Education work in B.C. Conference.
