Fonds consists of records generated during the Collins' time in Angola, and includes reports on various aspects of mission work, biographies of candidates for ordination, various articles and other writings relevant to their mission work, and personal correspondence and circulars meant for a wider readership. The fonds also contains photographs, most of which depict the work and patients of the leprosy hospital in Camundongo.

Fonds consists of four record series: Family correspondence (1922-1965); Medical Profession Records (1923-[1951?]), Photographs ([1920s-1940s?]), and Board of Foreign Missions records ([1924?]-1956).

Fonds consists of records relating primarily to Vera Bell's work as a nurse at United Church mission hospitals, including Wrinch Memorial Hospital (Hazelton, B.C.) and Queen Charlotte Islands Hospital in Haida Gwaii. Fonds also includes textual materials related to the hospitals and churches in those communities, work in Kenya, the Thomas Crosby mission boat, and her Christian faith.
