Janetville Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925; formerly Methodist; it included Janetville and Mount Horeb; in 1949 the pastoral charge merged with Pontypool to form Janetville-Pontypool Pastoral Charge; the points were Janetville, Mount Horeb, Pontypool, and Manvers Station; in 1955 Bethany and Yelverton were added; in 1963 Janetville-Pontypool Pastoral Charge was divided into two parts; Janetville Pastoral Charge was re-established and included Janetville, Mount Horeb, and Yelverton. Pontypool Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925; formerly Methodist; it included Pontypool, Lotus, Manvers, and McRae's Church in Manvers Township; in 1949, it merged with Janetville Pastoral Charge to form Janetville-Pontypool Pastoral Charge. Janetville United Church was formed in 1925; formerly Methodist. Yelverton United Church was formed in 1925; formerly Methodist. Pontypool United Church was formed in 1925; formerly Methodist.
