Biographical history
The lay delegates to the first meeting of the B.C. Conference of the United Church of Canada met in 1925 to approve the formation of the Lay Association. The objects of the Association were to promote the interests of the United Church of Canada and to provide Christian leadership. The Association was disbanded in 1963.
