History

A. L. MacFayden (d. 1917) was a Congregational/Presbyterian minister in Quebec and Ontario. He was ordained as a minister in the Congregational Church of Canada in 1879. After serving at the Inspector Street Mission in Montreal, 1881-1883, he was at Bethel Church, Kingston, 1883-1890; and West Toronto Junction, 1891-1893. He then transferred to the Presbyterian Church in Canada, serving at Mount Albert and Ballentine, 1894-1899; without charge, Toronto, 1900; and Chester, 1901-1905. He was married to Miss Robertson and on her death in Montreal was married in Kingston to Miss White.
