Administrative history
The National Committee on Church in Industrial Society was an ecumenical organization bringing together representatives of the United Church, Anglican Church, Presbyterian Church, Baptist Federation of Canada, Canadian Lutheran Council, and the Canadian Catholic Conference to providing programming and support for ministry work in the contemporary industrial society. The Committee helped organize educational workshops through regional institutes across Canada, ca. 1965, and in 1967, offered a National Seminar held in Waterloo, Ontario. The Committee operated in partnership with other ecumenical organizations including the Religion Labour Council and Canadian Council of Churches.
