New Hamburg Pastoral Charge was formed ca. 1976, when Oetzel - Lisbon Pastoral Charge was discontinued and Oetzel's United Church, North Easthope Township, and Lisbon United Church joined with Zion United Church, New Hamburg. Oetzel's United Church was established ca. 1968, formerly Evangelical United Brethren Church.
