Series consists of non property/property files covering legal issues, 1927-1968, boards, departments and committees, 1926-1964; and property and estate files and enquiries of the church barrister Armond T. Whitehead, 1942-1949.

Series consists of the following subseries: 1) Deeds and titles of churches, manses, cemeteries and other church property, 1811-2008; 2) Records Relating to Investment Properties, 1918-1986; 3) Administrative Records relating to Properties and Estates Originally Held by Antecedent Denominations, 1924-1981.

Series consists of records relating to several institutions and charges that were the responsibility of the Board of Home Missions. The records are related to specific institutions where appropriate, and in other cases are identified by the presbytery receiving aid from the Board. Institutions include schools and school homes, hospitals, mission boats, Aboriginal mission properties, churches, city missions, and ethno-cultural mission properties.
