Rockwood-Stone Church Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925; it was originally known as Rockwood Pastoral Charge, and included Rockwood and Stone Church in Eramosa Township. Rockwood and Eramosa Methodist Circuit was formed ca. 1919 when Rockwood and Eramosa Circuits were discontinued; it was discontinued in 1925 when the United Church was formed. Rockwood Methodist Church was established ca. 1856 as a Wesleyan Methodist Church; it joined the United Church in 1925. Rockwood Presbyterian Church was established ca. 1832; it joined the United Church in 1925. Rockwood United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist and Presbyterian. Stone United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist.
