Shiloh United Church in New Westminster has roots going back to Sapperton Methodist Church (1882). United Church activity began when Sapperton Methodist entered union in 1925. Sapperton United Church became Keary Street United Church in 1928, and between the years of 1939 and 1947, Keary Street United Church and Port Coquitlam joined to form a two point pastoral charge. This union discontinued in 1947, and in 1957 Keary Street United Church changed names and became Shiloh United Church. The church was a part of Westminster Presbytery. In 2004 Shiloh United Church sold its building and amalgamated with Sixth Avenue United Church to form Shiloh-Sixth Avenue United Church.
