Administrative history
St. Mark's United Church, located at 201 Centre Street South in Whitby, was established in 1925 as Whitby United Church, formerly Methodist. It formed part of Whitby Pastoral Charge with Almonds United Church in Whitby Township (until ca. 1947). In 1962 it was re-named St. Mark's United Church. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada.
