        历史

The Toronto Christian Resource Centre (CRC) is an outreach ministry of the United Church of Canada in the Regent Park neighborhood of Toronto. It began operations in 1964 and was incorporated in 1965. The CRC first operated from a house at 615 Ontario Street and shortly after, due to the redevelopment of the St. James Town area, the ministry then moved to 3016 Bleeker Street. In 1969, the CRC learned that their Bleeker Street property was to be domlished and the Board decided to move into the Don Vale community (now known as Cabbagetown) to 297 Carleton Street to provide this community with "the same kind of leadership that the Church had been providing in the St. James Town area." One of the first projects was aiding citizens who had been relocated as a result of the St. James Town development. The ministry stayed in this area until it moved into Regent Park United Church on Oak Street in 1980. In 2011, Regent Park United Church was demolished. The Centre is now housed in a joint social housing/community centre known as 40 Oaks on the former site of Regent Park United Church.
