        History

Prior to 1957, the One Hundred Mile House United Church congregation was a preaching point of St. Andrew's Pastoral Charge (William's Lake, B.C). In 1957, it was constituted as a Pastoral Charge. In 1958, the congregation began construction of a new church building and they had their first service in the new building on Good Friday of 1959. The One Hundred Mile House Pastoral Charge also consisted of various preaching points over the years since 1957. The main points have been Lac La Hache and Bridge Lake, but other smaller points such a Lone Bute, Horse Lake, Eagle Creek and Mahood Falls were also previously part of this Pastoral Charge. In the late 1990s, the Bridge Lake and Lac La Hache preaching points were closed.
