The Archives acquires: 1) records created by communities of faith and all other organizations, church courts, boards, divisions, departments, and committees of The United Church of Canada and its Congregationalist, Methodist, and Presbyterian antecedent denominations within the Region; 2) the personal/private papers and manuscripts of individuals active in the United Church or its antecedents, when such records are of clear value to understanding the history of the church within the Pacific Mountain Region; and 3) the records of ecumenical or inter-church organizations within the Region, if members of the United Church or antecedent denominations have played a significant role in these organizations.
