Administrative history

Westminster-West Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925, formerly Methodist; it included, until ca. 1967, North Street Church in Westminster Township, until ca. 1969 White Oak, and Littlewood. After White Oak closed Littlewood became a pastoral charge on its own, with the name being changed to Littlewood Pastoral Charge ca. 1978.

North Street United Church in Westminster Township was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The Westminster Methodist Circuit was formed ca. 1818-1819 and included what would be North Street Church. A church building was first constructed in 1820, and later a new building was dedicated in 1864. The church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It closed ca. 1967, with the Trustees continuing to meet to handle property matters.

White Oak United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The White Oak Bible Christian Church was formed ca. 1870 and it formed part of the London Mission. A church was built ca. 1875. In 1884, the church became White Oak Methodist Church and formed part of Westminster Circuit with North Stree, Sharon, Littlewood, Byron, Gore and White Oak. The church joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It closed ca. 1969

Littlewood United Church, located at 7009 Westdel Bourne in London, was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. It is still an active congregation of the United Church of Canada as a single-point charge.
